Rubbish Annubis.  I've worked in the parking for testvalley.  And who cares if you pass the ticket on.  All we looked for was a in date and time ticket.  I agree about the pay on foot idea though, as in Salisbury.

Nice to hear some decent people work in this area.

Well Done.

Pipkinsdad, i'm sure all you are looking for is a ticket in time and with date on but I was referring to the stated terms and conditions which you submit to upon the purchase of a ticket in that it is non-transferable. Yes i'm sure many employees might turn a blind eye to it but by passing it on you are in breach of the contract. Many car parks now require you to enter your Car Registration at time of purchase to stop the transfer of tickets. I'm not discussing the morality here or if it is right or wrong but simply stating the legal viewpoint. You are on private land belonging to TVBC or the car parking company and whilst there agree to their terms and conditions.

I went to town yesterday parked behind M & S the least I could pay was 80p I paid I wanted to have a look at carpet in Hables. They didn't have any on a roll so I went in and came out again, that took all of 15mins but I had paid for 1 hour. That is not fair.

If we paid when we left the costs would be justified and fair. Ouch

Why have TVBC started with the multi storey? with this charging as you leave, which we have been moaning about for many years now.

Do many people use it? I know I don't and nobody I know uses it.

Do you use the multi storey?

From Monday 11 August, users will have the option to pay for their parking over the phone using a credit or debit card. The Council has teamed up with RingGo to provide this service in car parks across Andover and Romsey for a small charge of 20p for each transaction. Thumbs%20Down

I can park my truck in any Andover car park and do not have to worry about parking tickets ... and even get a wave from our wonderful traffic wardens. There is no fuel crisis, because it only costs me about five pounds to fill my tank and my truck does 90 miles per gallon. Road tax costs £15 a year. I can carry almost half a metric tonne in the back .... and it pulls the birds.

Have you ever wondered if you are doing it wrong ?.
